We traded in our 1997 GC for the 2005 SXT. We have loved it since the 1st time we sat in it. The seats are extremely comfortable. The ride is amazingly quiet. The van take bumps like they werent even there. This is our 4th Dodge Grand Caravan and this is the best yet. We havent made a long trip in it yet, but I am definitely looking forward to one. Thanks Dodge for continual great design and upgrades.

We now have close to 70,000 miles on our SXT. We have had some small eletrical problems (always on the passenger side) like the passenger side window not working, but it goes away. The sliding doors tend to pop off the track if they are opened too fast. (we have only seen this happen twice.)Overall we get around 18 MPG in town and about 25MPG highway. We have taken many trips in our SXT without any mishaps. The waterpump has been changed. But that was the only part that has had to be replaced. We have a had a check engine light on for several months now, it doesnt interfere with performance, so weve ignored it until we can afford to take it in. Its a great family vehicle.

  • I like the new features - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

I have had a few cars in the last few years.( Saturn, Neon, and a Windstar) None of these compare to the features of the Grand Caravan. We got the vehicle used but has almost brand new interior and exterior. I really like the DVD player, and stow and go seating.. I think this will make it much easier to travel to visit family and friends.

  • Awesome Van - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

Weve had our van for six months now and I still love it! We had an 02 Odyssey before this one and I would definitely recommend the Dodge over the Honda. I think it is very easy to drive. I feel like I sit up in it and that I have a good view of my surroundings. Stow n go seating is great! I have two young children and their stuff is no longer rolling around on the floor of the van!

  • We LOVE it!! - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

This was our very first new vehicle, and boy are we delighted! Did lots of research before buying to decide between minivans; the quality for the price (Sienna and Odyssey didnt seem worth the extra $5-6 thousand for comparable models) and Stow n Go really won us over. Couldnt be happier with the interior roominess, comfy handling, intuitively placed controls, comfy seats, fabulous storage options and (we think) nice exterior styling. The gas mileage could be better, but isnt too bad once you get cruising; averages out OK. Has pretty responsive get-up-and- go for such a big vehicle (feels big compared to the Accord we used to drive!) All in all we couldnt be more pleased.

The van is solid. Very comfortable to ride in for extended periods of time. The ride is smooth and quiet. It is a fun vehicle to drive. There is nothing in here that I am not satisfied with.

  • Great vehicle, beats our old SUV - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

We traded in an SUV to get the Dodge Grand Caravan and have had no regrets. It is comfortable riding, drives nice, can carry more than our truck, and mileage isnt bad for a larger vehicle.

  • Very Good Value - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan

Purchased fully loaded Special Edition new for almost 1/2 price of similar Honda/Toyota vans. Test drove all 3 makes & noted better handling, quieter ride on H & T but frankly for $20K less with a car load of kids you really dont notice or care. Got & recommend the Chrysler extended warranty with $0 deductible and free minivan rental(beginning day 1). Weve had warranty work done (rack & pinion; frozen caliper; sliding door wiring and tire pressure sensors replaced) but the extended warranty made these experiences painless. Experts pooh-pooh this van. But push for a great price, protect yourself with the extended warranty youll get a great family van with low total cost of ownership.

The Grand Caravan SXT is a quality van from the beginning . The moment you open the door to enter until you close the door to exit. Truly a joy to drive, almost too comfortable, almost... Thank you Dodge for another quality vehicle.
